How To Get Airpod Pros To Stay In Ear

Airpods Pro keep slipping out of ear due to oil/sweat, does anyone have ear tip solutions they can share?

Hi all,

My title pretty much says it all. I can't enjoy my Airpods Pros because they keep slipping out of my ear and I'm continually having to push them back in, to the point that I'm literally shoving it down my ear canal. I've read around and saw silicon/memory foam ear tips as a possible option, but when shopping around, the company either doesn't make them for Airpod pros, or it's from a sketchy site. Does anyone have a recommendation? thank you!

I would try smaller tips if you have any. I passed the fit test on mediums but they kept slipping out. I switched to the smalls and now they fit perfectly!

I have the same problem as OP on the smallest size. Fucking tiny ear problems.

I had the opposite if this when exercising - for every day wear I use the small ones - they fail the fit test. For running however they slip out of my ears and I have to use the mediums when exercising - these pass the fit test, but absolutely wreck my ears if left in for more than 45 mins

Honestly mine fit way better when I removed the silicon tip completely. I know that isn't ideal but they stay in way better for me

You could clean the ear tips with rubbing alcohol. I notice that mine "hold" the oil from my ears and when I rub them down with rubbing alcohol it helps a lot.

I just wipe them off on my shirt if I notice them starting to slip and it gets the job done.

I've always had that problem with headphones that have those rubber cups. Surprisingly the first gen AirPods fit great for me

Hi, I have run the fit test and they pass - the issue is once they're in after a few minutes or so they start slipping out slowly to the point that they slip out completely. thanks

Yeah this is annoying. I just clean the AirPods and my ears frequently so they stay oil free, or in some cases wear them the other way around

I'm seeing lots of comments about the headphones and the rubber tips, but don't forget to clean your ears too!

Don't want to comment on anyone's personal hygiene but I've seen a lot of in ear headphones with more than their fair share of ear wax and oil.

I clean my ears constantly because I enjoy the feeling. And trust me: the damn things keep falling out.
